Creative Writing: Poetry and Fiction

Ages 11-17

We’ll try our hand at traditional and contemporary poetry techniques, experimenting with rhyme, rhythm, repetition, shape poetry, list poems, surrealist poetry, found poetry and more. Whether you love poetry or fiction, there’s great benefits to exploring both! We’ll tackle a wide range of fiction and non-fiction prompts, meandering between genres and styles. You can expect to learn as much about yourself as you do your writing, in this wide-ranging and creative week.
